Since 2000, specialists of dentistry clinic Neodenta implement independent program on prophylaxis of child oral hygiene „Care-from the first tooth“. 12 educational institutions – kindergartens and schools – participate in this program. During implementation of this scheme, child dentists of „Neodenta“ Rasa Bardijevskienė and Birutė Jankauskienė participate in conferences of teachers from kindergartens and schools, making announcements on various topics related to child oral health. They also participate in parents’ meetings, providing all necessary information on child oral health problems, tooth care, rational nutrition. Students of educational institutions participating in this program orderly visit the clinic Neodenta; during these visits, they listen to lectures of dentists about tooth care, healthy nutrition, factors harmful and useful to tooth health. During these visits, doctors examine child teeth and provide Neodenta examination cards with examination results for their parents.
     This program helps to improve the knowledge and skills of parents and children in the field of tooth health, effectively improving oral health indicators of children participating in this program.
