National Academy of Esthetic Dentistryacting in Lithuania is a non-profit organization of doctors dentists of all professions, practicing doctors and students, tooth technicians, oral hygienists, students of Faculty of Odontology, representatives of various companies, as well as people sponsoring this organization. This organization cooperates with international organizations of dentistry (International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry - IFED, European Federation of Esthetic Dentistry - EAED, Scandinavian Federation of Esthetic Dentistry - SAED, German Federation of Esthetic Dentistry – DGÄZ and other Academies of esthetic dentistry), focused in the field of oral esthetics. It includes comprehensive – therapeutic, orthopedic, orthodontic, periodontologic and implantologic oral esthetics, therefore capable to offer its members comprehensive perfection and improvement of qualification both in Lithuania and abroad. The goal of this Academy is the progress in the field of esthetic dentistry, provision of better educational facilities and encouragement and facilitation of provision of useful information for professionals. This organization communicates with special dentistry organizations. National Academy of Esthetic Dentistry also organizes and participates in various events. In the 15-th annual festival “Šypsena” held this year, the focus was on prize established by "Quintessence Publishing" and National Academy of Esthetic Dentistry – annual subscription of modern and innovative esthetic magazine "Esthetic" for the most active fifth course student J. Baryškinaitė.
